The Sidholme Hotel
The hotel was built in 1826 for the sixth earl of Buckinghamshire and originally known as Richmond Lodge. It is set in nine acres of secluded grounds within a few minutes walk of the town centre. The hotel has regularly won top prizes in the 'Sidmouth in Bloom' Competition.
Bedroom facilities include:
CD player, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray.
There's a Guests Lounge and a TV Lounge.
Other facilities include:
Croquet, putting, snooker and table tennis and a modern 15 metre indoor
swimming pool.
Do not seriously consider this hotel if your enjoyment is dependent upon a licensed bar or a bedroom television, as neither are provided.

As always, we are including plenty of coach excursions during the intervening days. We will offer you visits to Longleat Safari Park and Abbotsbury Swannery where reduced admission charges will be payable. The associated costs are not included in the tour price because some guests may prefer to do other things instead.
Without extra cost we will offer destinations which are likely to include Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis, Portland Bill, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton.
The outward journey will involve a motorway coffee stop and, having passed within sight of Stonehenge, a lengthy lunch stop at the pretty little Wiltshire village of Stourton. The return journey will be very similar
