The Crown Hotel
An attractive business class hotel set in the peaceful Cumbrian village of Wetheral, on the banks of the River Eden.
After an excellent first holiday here last Easter, we are keen to offer it again.
The hotel staff are friendly and attentive. The choice of food is pleasing and the superb swimming pool is likely to tempt those with energy to spare.
However, in common with most hotels, it's not perfect; there's no lift and there are only three ground floor rooms, one of which is suitable for the disabled.

During the outward journey we will stop for one of our popular farmhouse breakfasts in a pretty little Northamptonshire village. The early part of the return journey will take you across the Pennines from Penrith to Scotch Corner, one of the highest and most scenic routes in the country, before a stop at Wetherby in Yorkshire for lunch.
If you want to see some of the best scenery in the United Kingdom, do not underestimate this holiday!
See Easter in 'Settle-Carlisle' Territory for alternative dates involving our West Essex pick-up route.
