Day 1: A later departure than usual today because we intend to arrive in the City of Cambridge around lunchtime so you have the main part of the afternoon to enjoy its delights. For example, you might opt for a plod-along the River Cam in a punt!

Day 2: After breakfast on Sunday we will plod-along by enjoying a steam train ride on the Nene Valley Railway. We will then visit Burghley House where the famous annual horse trials take place. It was also used in the filming of ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and ‘Pride & Prejudice’.

Day 3: After breakfast on Monday we have chartered the Rutland Belle to take us on a guided cruise of Rutland Water. We will then proceed to Stamford for a lengthy lunch stop.
