Holiday Details

The main feature of this holiday is an optional day excursion to Lundy Island. The island gets its name from an old Norse word for Puffin, so guess what you will see whilst there! Lundy measures just three miles by three quarters of a mile and lies in the Bristol Channel 12 miles off the Devon coast. Its total population is less than thirty, not counting the numerous inhabitants of the Marine Nature Reserve and other wildlife visitors. Lundy even has its own Puffin postage stamp! If you wish to book this option we can get your ferry ticket for £25.00 instead of the usual £32.50, provided there are at least 20 of you in total. For those who can’t cope with ferry travel and prefer not to spend the day independently, our Tour Escort will find an alternative using the coach.
