Sunday
We depart late morning before stopping off enroute at Notcutts Garden Centre, St Albans. You can take a leisurely stroll around the
centre and even take lunch, at your own expense.
We then travel onwards to our hotel, which used to be the residence of W.S. Gilbert. The hotel's head gardener or managing director will provide a guided tour of the splendid hotel gardens and woodlands.
Dinner is served in the music room, complete with its magnificent alabaster fireplace and minstrel's gallery. You have your starter before the first act and your main course, dessert and coffee before the second act.
