Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Andernach
We travel via the Eurotunnel channel crossing to the Rhineland town of Andernach in the Romantic Middle Rhine region of Germany and settle ourselves aboard the mps Lady Anne.

Day 2: Andernach - Cochem
We journey to the Celtic-Roman town of Cochem, lying in the shadow of the fabulous Reichsburg Castle. From here we offer our optional Moselle Valley wine tasting excursion. Later relax in Cochem’s maze of little streets.

Day 3: Cochem - Boppard
Today we make our way to Boppard. This afternoon can be spent on our optional ‘Boppard Highlights’ excursion that incorporates a trip aboard the Rhine Express mini road train, followed by a chairlift ride to Vierseenblick.

Day 4: Boppard - Rüdesheim
This morning we cruise through the Rhine Gorge to reach the town of Rüdesheim. Don’t miss our optional Highlights excursion that features a ride to the heights of the gorge by cable car. Our evening can be spent at leisure in Rüdesheim.

Day 5: Rüdesheim - Frankfurt
An early start sees us heading up the River Main as far as Frankfurt. Our optional afternoon guided tour introduces us to this elegant city, rounded off with a glass of local apple wine, Ebbelwei, in a traditional tavern in Frankfurt’s Alt Sachsenhausen district

Day 6: Frankfurt - Mainz
We head back down the River Main as far as the town of Mainz. After lunch we offer an optional guided tour of vibrant Mainz.

Day 7: Mainz - Mannheim
We journey up as far as the lively and cosmopolitan city of Mannheim. We can either relax in Mannheim, or join our optional coach excursion to visit delightful, romantic Heidelberg.

Day 8: Mannheim - Koblenz
We head down the narrow Rhine Gorge and stop overnight in the 2000 year-old town of Koblenz. Our final optional coach excursion takes us into the picturesque Ahr Valley for a spot of wine tasting.

Day 9: Koblenz - Andernach -UK
The final 'leg' of our cruise gets underway before breakfast for the return to Andernach. We aim to arrive home by mid evening.
