Whirling windmills set amongst fields blanketed with swaying tulip blooms await us on our spring itinerary featuring visits to the heart of the Dutch bulbfields and a stunning former home of the Dutch Royal Family.

Nowhere is springtime better encapsulated than at Holland's Keukenhof Gardens where awakening trees and a huge palette of floral colours are reflected in the shimmering lakes.

Our cruise commences and ends in Amsterdam; the sparkling diamond centre of the world that glistens on its labyrinth of canals and waterways.

After the dull days of winter, gladden the eye with a flood of colour on our gem of a cruise.

Your Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Amsterdam - Volendam
We travel via the Eurotunnel channel crossing and stop for lunch in Flanders before we meet the mps Lady Anne in Amsterdam. We cast off and cruise northward through the scenic Ijsselmeer to reach the quaint former fishing port of Volendam for our overnight stop. A stroll around the harbour and a swift Dutch beer in a local bar may be the perfect way to round off our first day.

Day 2: Volendam - Kampen
We cruise to the eastern banks of the Ijsselmeer to berth in the historical town of Kampen. This afternoon's inclusive coach trip takes you to Het Loo Palace, the former home of the Dutch Royal Family.

Day 3: Kampen - Hoorn - Amsterdam
We cruise back over to the Ijsselmeer's western shores to reach the lively little port of Hoorn. After lunch the coach will take us to Keukenhof Gardens and then to Amsterdam to spend the remainder of the day as you wish. You might, for example, contemplate a guided boat trip on the canals (at your own expense).

Day 4: Amsterdam - UK
After our final breakfast aboard mps Lady Anne we will repeat the outward journey but use a different Flemish town, (Bruges, Ostend or Antwerp) for an early afternoon lunch stop.

We aim to arrive home by mid evening.
